The McGinley Foundation aims to support charities and not-for-profit organisations that Paul and Ally have a close association and are familiar with. Particular emphasis is put on those who assist and support children and young adults.

The Foundation was set up in 2013 when Paul was announced as the 2014 European Ryder Cup Captain.  During Paul’s captaincy, The McGinley Foundation was his official Captain’s Charity and the chosen charities he supported during his Captaincy via the McGinley Foundation were:

  • Amber
  • Clic Sargent
  • Society of St Vincents de Paul
  • The Tour Players Charity

Since then, the Foundation has supported various charities including:

Women for Women

We help women survivors of war rebuild their lives and choose their own futures.

Royal Ballet School

One of the most rewarding ways to support The Royal Ballet School is to sponsor our students and help them fulfil their dream to dance professionally.

Friends of the Coombe

Friends of the Coombe is a charity organisation established in 1982 to raise funds to assist the development of the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital.

AsIAm

AsIAm Is Ireland’s National Autism Charity. We are working to create a society in which every autistic person is empowered to reach their own personal potential and fully participate in society.

Lahinch National School

Scoil Mhuire, An Leacht (St. Mary’s School, Lahinch) is located in the popular coastal town of Lahinch, on Liscannor Bay, on the west coast of Co. Clare, Ireland.

Ennistymon Family Resource Centre

The North West Clare Family Resource Centre’s Work Plan and Strategy includes actions that are based on local need and on our capacity to carry them out.

In 2019 The McGinley Foundation was announced as one of official charities of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open 2019 in Lahinch. Paul and Ally very much wanted to support local charities to the area and therefore supported the Lahinch National School and the Ennistymon Family Resource Centre.
